Guys! It is finally happening! Tomorrow morning I'm going to get all dolled up and go out to take pictures of my Yuki cosplay in the black uniform with artemis, which - by the way - is now making my hands feel like they might bleed.  I have never dealt with such a troublesome prop. I think the humidity is making it swell so it took all my - very pathetic - strength to get it to attach to each other. I just hope I can take it back apart later. orz I might figure out a way to get it in the car without doing that though... The thing is pretty big - taller than me and I'm 5'8!

Can you guys believe two cosplays so close together! The hardest part was getting my sister to find the time to take the pictures. I do understand though, she has a lot of on plate and a lot of bad joint issues that she is cursed with thanks to her being double jointed.

Anyway, I really hope these turn out alright. This will probably be the last time I ever cosplay Yuki. I'm just not feeling like I pull her off too well. Haha.

As for any other cosplays after this, I have no idea. It's not likely anytime soon, but I'm going to do my best. If only I could get it done in time.

BTW, I started my Akane Aikawa cosplay from Magic Users Club (Mahou Tsukai Tai). I'm so nervous but I really hope I can get it done before our convention in September. We shall see, I'm such a terrible sewer. orz

I have decided to quit with helping out as a Co-Founder and Contributor. It is mostly because all the groups I was a part of the admin had gone MIA and as for being a contributor, there wasn't much for me to do as one so I felt it was just unnecessary.  It was getting on my nerves to keep seeing stuff in my inbox that I couldn't even approve. So yeah, I'm out! lol

In other news, I'm working on my own Misato from Evangelion cosplay. My sister did that costume but she no longer cosplays so I figured that would be a character I would like to do. I also have most of my outfit down to be Alexandria Garcia from Kuroko no Basket. I hope to get some of these shots done this summer before my help leaves out of town forever. *sob*

My health has been much kinder to me lately - either that or I just don't care anymore. LOL Anyway, I'm feeling more energy than I did before at least. So yeah, I'm still here and I still plan to cosplay it is just not going to be as active as I was back when I was in a cosplay group.

I thought it was about time for a new journal entry. My last one was a bit depressing.

First things first, I'm healing nicely! My health is really looking up again. Blood work is all good, tests results were all negative, and my energy is starting to come back. This is great news because now I can really work on doing more cosplay and videos. I have actually updated my "youtube channel with some new videos about makeup and snack boxes. I will be bringing some short cosplay videos in the near future.



I'm trying to be more active on the web again. My blog Ochitsuki.net is finally getting more updates as well.

You might have noticed a few updated pictures here and there. I have been going through some of my old stuff and seeing what looks decent enough to post. If the weather stays good maybe I can get my photographer to help take pictures of my Yuuki Uniform cosplay. If she is not too busy that is. I need to find more cosplay buddies because soon she will be moving out of town! Wah!
